Gorgeous view of Shasta!!! I feel like you'd only be staying here for a reason. The dumpster pickup at the gas station in front is pretty noisy every other day at like 5 am.. The rooms are small! Too much outdated furniture taking up space in these rooms. A lot of them are adjoining, so there's that door in your room... cell and wifi service are spotty but that's the area in general. Parking lot it super tight.. just an FYI the locals are just "ok" . Mostly between 30-50 year olds that loudly talk smack about out of towners.. there are other "main chain" motels in the area with more space that I'd suggest.

We stop here every year on our way to and from Washington State. The towns folk are courteous and welcoming. The motel is always clean and best part is they are pet friendly. The town of Weed is a beautiful historic town. The view of Mt. Shasta is magnificent.

Perfect spot and facilities for a passing-through stay!! Friendly folks checked us in. Also, well groomed (really) pet walking area next to the creek. Much appreciated!! Cafe across parking lot is great and staff super friendly. Nice Shasta area/view.

Decided to take a chance and trust the reviews I read. So glad I did. The place was very clean and the service was above average. As a single woman traveling alone, staying in a strange place can be scary. I was not frightened to stay here alone at all. The cafe is very close and they had no problem adjusting to my dietary needs. Food and service were so good that I plan on stopping again on my return trip. This place will be my new waypoint when traveling this way. Simple, clean, polite, and helpful.... rooms, staff and restaurant.
