I had an appointment on Friday July 22nd of this year that morning I woke up feeling ill took a home test and it was positive for covid-19 I texted their confirmation line at 6:14 in the morning knowing that they would not be open to state that I would not be able to make my appointment. A month later I received a bill in the mail for a no-call no-show fee for $25. Luckily I was able to get that fee waived by a gentleman in the billing department named Austin who did a phenomenal job. But I am disappointed in there inability to monitor their lines of communication as I still had to take 25 minutes out of my day in order to get this resolved

This location needs to seriously assess their process and patient load. I have been here twice within a week with my mother as she had cataract surgery and each time we were their 10 minutes prior to her scheduled appt and still their process took several hours!

I normally had very good experiences with this office until my appointment today. Immediately when I arrived I was asked if I had a mask. When I apologized for forgetting my mask and asked if they had one I could have, the receptionist rolled her eyes and provided me a mask while telling me I should have brought one. I ignored the rude comment and demeanor and she continued to tell me I owed a copay. When I told her I met my max out-of-pocket she argued with me that her system insisted I owed a copay. When I stood firm that I met my max-out-of pocket, she threw my file on the desk and sternly told me they would bill me the deductible and for me to have a seat. I was in shock and tried to call the insurance company to make sure she understood my max out-of-pocket was met. The receptionist proceeded to yell at me that I could not be on my phone, but refused to call the insurance company herself to verify the information. When the person from the insurance company tried to explain that I met my max out-of-pcoket, the receptionist further proceeded to roll her eyes throw her arms up in a manner that was derogatory and combative and did not even try to apologize or correct her behavior. When I called her out on her unprofessional demeanor and asked to speak with the office manager (who by the way watched all this transpire and walked into her office behind the receptionist with the door open) the receptionist refused to get the manager and blatantly began ignoring me. The office manager finally peak out of the office and when I began to explain to her that the way the employee acted was highly unprofessional for a medical office, she began making excuses in favor of the receptionist and did nothing to address the way her receptionist acted. I could not continue my appointment because I had an emotional breakdown over how I was being treated. The only thing I was offered was a different appointment and an empty promise the situation would be handled. While the doctors are great and the medical staff took my concerns more seriously, it was made abundantly clear to me the office manager sees no problem with a medical receptionist being confrontational and borderline combative with patients. For this reason I give this location 1 star.
