My experience at Powell Recovery Center was to say the least absolutely amazing!! ππ€©ππ€© When I entered the program everyone was so welcoming and kind! The staff, facilitators and block staff all were so kind helpful and went above and beyond. They offered me so many resources and opportunities to help build my network and life back to normalcy. They helped me obtain all my personal documentation, they encouraged me to go back to college, they helped me gain the knowledge I needed to substation sobriety and helped me to heal from my past. I was able to mend relationships with family and friends and they were there for me at any emotional milestone I came across. They were my personal cheer team. I now have the confidence I needed to reenter society and the knowledge and power to remain abstinent from drugs. Without Powell I wouldn't be who I am today and wouldn't have my life back together to be the mother, woman and friend I am now. I am now a mother to my children, in the workforce and a college student who was able to work and save and pay for my own apartment. Thank you Powell Recovery Center and all the amazing staff who helped guide me and teach me everything I have to be a productive member of society!!!

I've been a client here more than once. Most people would disagree withe the amount of freedom you get as soon as you come in. Well, if you truly want to recover and are sick and tired of being sick and tired- you'll be ok with having your phone, cigarettes and money. For the first 30-60 days( blackout) you are in substance abuse class from 9-4. After you've completed black out, you find yourself a job and your in class 9am-12 & have a curfew of 10pm. I graduated.

Was at powell twice and both times was an amazing program. Powell is very clean and they house you, feed you, and give you all the tools so you never have to use again. Counselors and staff speak and help from their hearts and can relate to patients.

Powell is a pretty decent place..I think its ran pretty well..the house managers do a pretty good job..Keith the house mgr, big dude with dreads and tats is a good dude .Powell definitely wants the best for the clients..When you go in here, remember you came here for yourself, not to make friends or enemies..Your here for "your" recovery..I would recommend this place..best of luck to your recovery..

30 day Blackout and no they don't take your phone anymore.
The houses have a phone, there is a phone in Bldg 26 on Broadway you can use and they let you keep your personal cell phone.
Darrnell Cunningham you can bring up to 7 outfits and four pair shoes along with your personal items and if you need anything they will let a family member or friend bring you more twice a month and you can bring any medications you on but they will keep your meds and give them to you every day congratulations on your big step to Recovery this program is awesome I was there for 18 months you get all the help and education to help you stay clean I came home 9 years ago and still clean it feels good being clean just take one day at a time. Good luck praying for you.
Yes females live in different houses but are in the same program in your first 30 days your mixed with the females in groups then you move to IOP and it's all men. Great program if you wanna live!! ππ
Yeah they have mental health classes that you can take.
They can't report it..and police can't come here..don't worry your good...
Fan yes. Never seen anyone bring a TV.
Yes you can bring your cell phone, tablet or laptop with you if you like.
Yes. It's a good program. Six months and they offer crisis housing as well.
Are there any beds available
Debra bull Yes you can still go back to the house they will have someone go with you even if you don't go by ambulance as long as you have you discharge papers they will check the time you was discharged so you gotta go straight to Powell Recovery no stops in between. Hope I was hopeful.
Crystal you can drop them off at the main office on Broadway Street from 9am until 6pm but call to make sure I graduated from Powell 9 years ago.
I'm doing inpatient so I'm not sure. Damien on phone is very helpful if you want to call and ask. It's an amazing place with an incredible staff.
No not necessarily they sometimes prefer to send you to a detox program first
