Very pretty, honestly the best spot for like a picnic or a romantic place for a date

I can't imagine why this boat ramp isn't paved. There's not another public boat ramp for miles, and you can't really put a boat in on a dirt ramp without risking getting stuck.

It's hard to reconcile what is with what was. Fulton Landing was once a community. Then it was developed into another community. Then it was overdeveloped into what we have now. A road, once lined with gorgeous old oak forest, winding down to a narrow drop off into the river. No more docks, grassy picnics, no more stables or tennis courts of the sixties. No more hand built homes and no more self sufficient people from before 1960. As a boat ramp, now, you get just enough room to turn your car and trailer around. A trash can and a lone bench someone thoughtfully placed by the water. What you won't get are the memories we had and the time shared fishing, crabbing and shrimping the waters. Greed and development fever overtook the family of the man who developed Beacon Hills and provided those amenities to residents in 1960. Now, it serves as a ramp. And a place to meet to exchange controlled substances. So sad but considering what he displaced, somewhat just. Enjoy what's left of Florida, while it's still here.

No facilities at all, just a sandy/muddy shoreline at the end of the road.
Lots of folks launch small craft from there, limited trailer parking
