Scummy tactic to try and force someone to pay $2.00 to print a prepaid shipping label. I had the bar code from the app so it could be scanned, printed, and checked in for drop off. But the clerk insisted I needed to email my label to the store. Don't fall for this. Go to any other store, or the main hub for shipping. Not going back here. I've sent hundreds of packages over the years. Never have I had to pay to print a label. * update- Hi Greg, I stand by what I said, that it was a scummy attempt to swindle. I had the appropriate QR/ bar code, from the "no print and ship" option found in the UPS app. But your clerk wanted me to print on the 8x11 paper. That's not what I wanted to do, nor pay for. I wanted to scan and have my label issued just as I've done that hundreds of times. I know your store is independent, but that doesn't change my opinion on the tactic. I use the app as a means of convenience, not to tape standard paper to a box. I always look to use the UPS labels, as they peel and stick.
