I have to disagree with the commenter above, the neighborhood is not unsafe. Heartwood is right between downtown Gainesville and Depot Park. There are no large parking lots in the downtown area, so you should resort to street parking just like you would when going anywhere else downtown. Park on South Main, SE 2nd Street, or SE 6th Ave.
Its a nice lil spot i only attended a concert but it was chill great drinks small. Its a recording studio. The neighborhood is kinda iffy though

They're pretty locks and open.. If you go up there they can introduce you to some really cool people That's really into music So you could definitely find a cool crowd to hang out with and jam out

Yes, we were at an outside lawn concert. I didn't notice if anyone brought a cooler. There was a BBQ truck and a table selling drinks. But I didn't notice coolers.
