We like to try mom & pop or family places. Unfortunately, the only good thing here was the burger & tomato on it. Ice tea tasted like city water. Fries were not crisp, unseasoned, limp & light colored. Bean soup was NOT good at all. Tasted like a generic brand with ketchup thrown in. Supposed to have chunks of ham. Only found two small pieces. Not homemade soup as they claimed. Bathroom, interior, vinyl on chairs all showing age. Pretty old place Wouldn't recommend or return.

I ordered prime rib. I think they microwaved it. No seasoning and it tasted like rubber and strange. Then I ordered a smothered chicken sandwich to replace it. The green beans tasted worse than something you get out of a can at Walmart. The big potato was hard. The staff was nice.

Nice family owned restaurant, food, service, cleanliness, and price were all okay. Overall it was pretty descent.
