Definitely don’t go here the lady answered phone was so rude even after I told her that my son just died, not compassionate at all. Sounds like this is a miserable place with miserable people and your right they don’t do things in a godly manner anymore. Lady upfront needs to fired and see what’s it’s like to go without but god is good and he sees how people and he knows she mean woman and probably she stole all of churches money is why they are out but she really didn’t have to be rude

They assisted me in Spanish, and guided me in what I was looking for.

I don't donate to them anymore, because they don't do things in a godly way anymore. They won't help people with a bus ticket without running your name with the st.augustine police department without telling you, that is untrustworthy! I had a friend that worked their and when donations came in they take what they want home and that's wrong too, it is meant for the homeless, not employee's. They really lost my trust year's ago, I hardly got anything for Christmas for my 2 children ,yet everybody else was getting 3 times more then me, nothing is ever Fair here, remember God/ tells us to treat everyone the same. I was Very disappointed and My family no longer donates because of these problems 😭plus my children not receiving anything I requested on their paperwork for them, was disappointing, and they had a really bad Christmas 🎄. I felt so bad as mother, plus I was handicapped too.

From a faith based organization.. they were very quick to say "no" to helping a single father who has never received a penny from any government program. Disappointed and confusing.

Many food pantries in town. Catholic Charities does have one. There is also a huge church on sr207 that does, a small church on May St, heading to Vilano Beach that does Saturday mornings and a small warehouse on Masters drive that does. The one on Saturday is a great one on May St.
Yes.
Honestly, I've been trying to get funds for deposit and first months rent, they must be out of funds, there is a long waiting list, try to get on public housing list or get into a homeless shelter, Good luck🌞
