I'm so over being harassed! They show up at my house over my grass being 2 inches high giving me 1 week to cut it, while I was dealing with my Mother's passing! I don't live in an HOA or Deed Restricted community, they've sat outside my home blaring music on a Saturday before 8am then when approached he takes off. Leaves a tag on my door today, then it disappears before I get home! So Unprofessional all the way around!!

Officer Tidwell #987. Probably the most immoral and pointless citation that could exist without a warning. The cooperation with the wickedness of a neighbor who sees the opportunity to harm you. Officer Tidwell or you are abnormal, a neighbor's acquaintance, or just plain no-nonsense who lends himself to unseemly work. Sad to know that our taxes are used to pay individuals like you. You can enforce the law with decorum or be a money-collecting machine punishing families. I definitely did not see decorum in his manner of acting. Only the intention to do damage or increase his citation record.

The officer assigned to our case has been understanding and working with us about a massive tree we had to have dropped (and started to clean up) as well as an unregistered vehicle (that was bought the Friday evening before they showed up on Monday), but he won't answer calls or texts. If you leave him a voice mail he just shows up randomly. It took us weeks to get the name of the person who complained. Just so you all know, it's illegal to do an anonymous report. Turns out, it was someone else who works for the county and doesn't live in our neighborhood. We asked several times for the name name just got told they were not aloud to give it. We had to go to the office and ask before they finally gave us a name. Apparently our case specifically has spurred an internal investigation that caused "a fire storm" in the code enforcement office. I really hope something comes from this investigation. Our neighbors all have great relationships with us so it is just mind boggling that someone who doesn't live anywhere near us can just complain. My fiance ended up in the ER yesterday due to the extremely manual labor done all weekend to deal with the tree as well as the stress. Perhaps code enforcement should actually do things to help the neighborhood versus messing with people.
