I love trying new coffee places. This coffee shopp was such a disappointment. The staff were unfriendly and unhelpful. They didn’t get our order right and seemed bothered when we politely asked if they could make it right. I would not recommend this place and we will not be returning.

We found this place when it first opened. We were amazed that we finally had a local grinder in the area. It was so special, the coffee, the atmosphere everything was so perfect. Now the new owners are from the Greek restaurant next door and the place has changed dramatically. The coffee is not grinded anymore. It is just regular coffee that you can get at any coffee house. The pastries have changed, they were gourmet and now it seems they are just from the Greek place next door. They got rid of their ice cream base for the sweeter coffees and most of their flavors. There is no longer anything special about this place! So we went over to Coffee Grind (something we never had any interest to try). They have some good coffee's with all of the flavors and frozen coffee's with custards. This is our new place. It's a shame because 1971 was just starting to get crowded and last time we went in it was empty. so sad

Excellent coffee and CeCe was really awesome with the service and knowledge of her craft. The fact that they roast beans daily shows in the taste. Also extremely affordable and many snack choices. The outside patio on the lake was perfect. I’ll be back.

Practicing mask safety. Unfortunately if they say they have a health condition I cannot ask anything else and I can’t force them or anyone to wear a mask. We do however offer online ordering and curbside pickup for those that cannot wear a mask. We sanitize the tables and areas after people use them. We also have sanitizer dispenser.
We are currently working on it. We are hoping to be open by the end of January.
