My son has been getting ultrasounds every few months and each time we visit we are always greeted warmly and professionally. There’s one gentleman at the front desk that is my favorite, I wish I could remember his name, but he always chats with the kids and makes you feel so comfortable. We have the same ultrasound tech each time and my son LOVES her. She is so patient. If he gets wiggly she pauses and gives him time to calm down before starting again. The only feedback I have is it seems they don’t always have the ultrasound orders from the doctor. There’s been a few times I’ve had to call the doctor back and ask them to resend the order.

In the 2 times that I have had to go to Nemours in Lakeland I have not had any inconvenience. But I want to talk specifically about Ms. Erin Petti, "Pediatric Nurse Practitioner (Neurology)". For me she is almost like a doctor because I consider her to be an expert in Neurology. He always treats us with great courtesy and kindness. He gives us all his attention and is very attentive to answer any questions we have; even though most of the time we see each other virtually (due to transportation problems). He has cared for my daughter, almost 3 years, in conjunction with Dr. Zinn (Nemours Orlando) and later Dr. Winesett (Gainesville). Your treatment has been a very important part in the great improvement of my daughter. I am very grateful with you.

We had an appointment at Nemours to see our daughters ortho Dr. Khoury. We have been seeing Dr Khoury (at Shriner's) since our daughter was 5 weeks old because she needed correction of her right clubfoot. At first it was overwhelming having to deal with casting and drs appointments, but Dr Khoury was great with our daughter and made every appointment as smooth as possible. She had great treatment with him, and saw great results. He was always kind, professional, and understanding. Whenever I had a suggestion regarding her care, he listened and worked with me to find the treatment that best worked for her. She turns 4 in November, and I cannot believe we have spent the last four years casting, and bracing, and are almost done. I couldn't have done it without Dr Khoury and his great team. We saw him once at Nemours for a follow up, and he is still giving great care. If you are expecting and have received a clubfoot diagnosis, don't stress or worry... go to a great doctor like Dr. Khoury.

This is our second time bringing our son to this hospital and I have to say, I don't understand the low rating. Everyone that has come into contact with our child has been nothing less than amazing. They knew exactly what to do and when to do it. I wish they were closer to us but the hour and a half drive is well worth it. I would like to shout a few of our nurses: Cheyenne, Magen, Melody, Katie and (last and most certainly not least) Ray they are the real MVPs. If you've been graced with their presence, know that your baby is in good hands. Thank you ladies so much for keeping our baby at ease in his most uncomfortable times.
