Hi, Chip! We don't have a good answer for you. We are the Gaston County party so we only control what happens here. We have been told that there will be one (or more!) opening in Mecklenburg County soon. Probably right after Labor Day when the campaign really heats up. In the meantime, you are always welcome to come visit us in Gaston County if you need supplies right away. Thanks for your question!
Hi, Rodney! You will need to simply fill out a new voter registration form. We have those in our office, or you can get one online here: https://s3.amazonaws.com/dl.ncsbe.gov/Voter_Registration/NCVoterRegForm_06W.pdf Once you fill that out, you can either drop it at our office or mail it to the Gaston County Board of Elections.
The 2019 elections were only for people who lived in the city limits. If you live out in the county, you would not have anyone to vote for. Thanks for checking in!
