Yes, they told me this and it was in my adoption paperwork. They only request you return the animal back to them.
We are here for just 9 months. We love cats but we can’t get one because of limited time we have in here. So I m just wondering is it possible to come over there sometimes for feel the cats with my 1.5 years old son ?
Around 250. That is shots and spay or neutered. But sometimes it is less depending on the dog.. Best to call and ask them.

The Humane Shelter of Southern IL in Carbondale (Jackson Co) is your best bet. Once a month they sell vouchers to the public at a low cost. (Go early, sometimes they go fast!) There are certain veteranarians in our area that then honor the certificates. (T.O. Miller in Murphysboro is one...) Thanks for being a responsible pet owner!! 👍
I'm not a 100% sure they let 5 year olds volunteer but they are very friendly so it never hurts to ask. Herron house of hope always needs volunteers though and the main guy John is absolutely amazing.
