The only people who accept medical insurance are state licensed medical practitioners such as a medical doctor, psychiatrist, psychologist and social workers. Everyone else is just a hypnotist, and definitely not a hypnotherapist. When the word therapist is used, it means that you are a state licensed medical practitioner. Which is what I am. However, I'm a retired psychologist, so now as a hypnotist for 20 years, I too no longer accept insurance. So I suggest you look for another psychologist who also uses hypnosis within their practice.
