I've been wanting to go to a Fraser Fir tree farm for the longest time and this year since we had a hard time finding a nice tree at the tree lots we normally go to, we decided to take the 2 hour trip to Tom Sawyer tree farm and it was such …

We enjoyed this place! This was my fiancé and my first Christmas together and wanted to start our tradition picking our tree from a tree farm and making a days trip out of it. I came across this place googling for places and seen the reviews and figured we would give it a try. The people there were very helpful and friendly and there’s things to do there for kids as well including Santa clause. Unfortunately this year with covid things aren’t as grand as they could be but still didn’t ruin the great time we had here and the prices are great. Depending on where you come in from there’s a beautiful scenic trip as well. I think in all my years of getting real trees this one has to be the best. Very bushy and will be beautiful once decorated. I’d definitely be back and will recommend anyone to go here.

The farm is cute, the staff are friendly, and the food truck had great hot chocolate and donuts. But that's where the positives end. Their whole system is extremely inefficient and there are so many simple things that could be done to make …We apologize for your experience. We had twice the number of customers than we usually do on that day and we didn't handle it perfectly. We can't use the texting/calling system because most people don't have a signal there. We hope you will give us another chance next year. Merry Christmas!

We were there yesterday (Sunday, Dec. 1). This was our first visit to Tom Sawyer Tree Farm. We were extremely impressed with the entire operation, which was very efficient. The tree selection is excellent! Our biggest problem was figuring out which one we wanted. As soon as we chose our tree, there was someone there to cut it, and it was immediately loaded and taken to the staging area for tying up. When we went to pick up the tree, it was immediately loaded. Everyone at the farm was helpful and friendly. If I could give it more then 5 stars, I would. We will return next year.

We have choose n cut Christmas trees, and this weekend (Friday, Saturday & Sunday 11/27-11/29) we will be open from 9 am - 5 pm. Santa will also be there, as well as the horse & buggy rides, food trucks, & gift shop.
I'm pretty sure its $99. Ours was in the 7-8 foot range and was $109.
Sawyer family farmstead Christmas season is approaching. Yes there are choose and cut options. Also the Elf village opens Mid November. Bring your family and experience great day of fun and activities on the farm.
Yes, we allow dogs on leashes. We just ask you to pick up after your pup too. Please know many people bring their dogs the weekend of Thanksgiving and it is a very busy weekend, so if you prefer a leisurely walk through the trees you may choose to come either early in the day or late in the day to miss the crowds!
The trees are based upon the height. Ours was was 8' and it was 90. There is a Santa village where kids can go meet Santa and create crafts. It's a small fee but the experience is worth it for small children and it has become our family tradition.
Dec 10th is the last day listed on their website.
Prices this year look to be a bit higher with 5'-6' trees priced at $75.
