This is a gorgeous manor on 4 acres in Dillard, Ga. The decor is beautiful as is the setting. Well worth the visit! The owner is very cordial and welcoming.

Went for Valentines dinner. The steak was delicious. Everything else food wise was mediocre and portions were very small at $45 a person. The entree was literally two shrimp each! Service was great after I called the restaurant to let them know we were in the lobby waiting to be seated for our reservation. Just prior an employee or possible owner appeared to tell us we were going the wrong way but failed to let anyone know we were waiting. Signage is lacking severely. Driveway and parking are sketchy. When we asked about a drink menu we were told that they lost their license. Overall not a horrible experience but i won't eat there again.

This 1 star is based solely on the restaurant experience we had. It started with our waitress, she possessed mannerisms of a waitress at a diner, not an “upscale” restaurant. She had no desire being there, had no communication skills. The two kids holding hands and kissing throughout the dining room, filling water and clearing tables?! Not sure what that was about. The food? Give me a break. $14 shrimp cocktail - 4 boiled shrimp and some bottled cocktail sauce, no thanks. My wife ordered the $28 Parmesan encrusted salmon, what she received was a 3 oz piece of cold fish with a teriyaki glaze on it, rested upon a bed of cold mashed potatoes - not at all what she ordered, however our waitress didn’t bother saying anything about it, or come back to check on us after receiving our dinner. Steak Alfredo looked like beef jerky. Friends “enjoyed” overcooked steaks with cold sides. Apparently the chef was the only one in the kitchen so it was slow, and that’s fine. But no excuse for cold food. The portions were a joke, the quality was a joke, our service was a joke. One of the worst experiences of a restaurant I’ve ever experienced. Needless to say, I won’t be back.

This was a day that defines “from the ridiculous to the sublime.” Rabun Manor dinner was the sublime. Annettes was (good but) also the ridiculous. See separate review of Annette’s in their Google review. The setting (views of the mountains) and food at Rabun Manor were superb. The scallops and shrimp were wonderful, but the star of the night was the Alfredo sauce! Made fresh for each customer, it’s hard to describe how good it was. Creamy but with a texture that showcased the cheese(s) and each ingredient. Pasta was cooked perfectly. And make sure you get extra bread to sop it up!! Even the julienne vegetables were spot on. I’m sure meals are good all the time, but I’d make sure James (Weaver) is in the house. Thursday, Friday, Saturday, and Monday. Key lime pie to die for!

Don't even think about going for dinner or anything. There is no chef in house. The place is a dumb.
