There's definitely room for improvement. My daughter got into a dual immersion program in another school so we had to do an interdistrict transfer. I got her letter of acceptance during spring break and had to complete the process the day they went back to school. HOW?! I called to leave a voice-mail but the call would simply drop, leaving a voice-mail was not an option apparently. So I emailed the two people that were listed as interdistrict transfer department and didn't get an answer, stil haven't. I do understand that they were on vacation but I still wanted to at least try to reach them. Thankfully the principal in the new school got back to me and after going to the school office and explaining, I was able to get a different deadline. It's simply NOT possible or acceptable to require parents/gardians to complete any process with the district when they know they will not be available. Please, do answer the phones. I understand that you're busy, but you could set up the phones to a waiting system at the very least! And yes, I continued to try and reach them by phone when they went back from vacation and the calls would still drop.
