For real. I was skeptical twice. Ignored the first letter. Did my research on the second letter, called the #, a real person answered, gave me details. BBB Bureau info too. Completed their requests and sure enough received my check from the State.

I filled out my letter and sent it in almost a year ago now. When I call, no answer. Not sure if it’s legit.

What they do takes a long time, because they must interact with and depend upon some government offices, where your desire to resolve quickly is of no interest to the government. Let them have a shot. All our calls were immediately or very promptly responded to.

We got one too so probably? Did you follow up on it?
For my case, I did check the unclaimed property website of California and it did show I had some unclaimed property. I do move a lot because of my profession. I didnt know I had this until this company reached out to me which made me verify the controllers website. I could have done it my self which now I wish should have, but since they found it for me I decided to acquire their service. After signing the notary giving them the rights to process my unclaimed property, I never heard from them again. I dont know what happened to my check.
They do need your social to make sure you are the right person. From what I see it is a legitimate company but it is something you can do on your own. Every state has an "unclaimed property" division, it can be from a utility bill you overpaid or we found an old child support check that was lost from when my husband's kids were younger. If you do try it on your own, make sure it is a state's Treasury Dept, it should have a .gov somewhere in their link. They only take 10% which is really good to save you the hassle of looking for your "missing money" and not going to a wrong website and get scammed. I live in Nevada and look every couple of years because things get lost so they end up with your state's treasury. You should check every state you have ever lived in!
