I have never experienced such a poor winery experience like I did here on Sunday 8/15/21. A large group of friends and myself had a reservation to celebrate a good friend‘s birthday, to taste wines and relax. The picnic style was …If you are thinking about booking a reservation with a large group but are going to behave as this group did, I suggest you book an alternate venue. You see, this is a winery - not a bar or restaurant. This group was informed several times that they should bring their own food for a Sunday reservation - first by me in writing and then twice over two days when they repeatedly called on the phone. When they asked staff to do things that are ILLEGAL in New Hampshire, the staff appropriately informed them of the law. They were never “promised food” or bottles of wine on the table. They just didn’t like the answers they got. They were offered other food options, but they declined. I’m sorry they “left a lot sooner than expected”, but reservations are for 1.5 hours and they stayed well past 2.5 hours. They must have really had a bad time if they stayed so long. It was a busy day and other customers were waiting for the tables they had reserved. This group obviously doesn’t understand the laws regarding wineries in New Hampshire. This is not a place to come and get drunk. There are strict limits to how much we can pour each person here. There were no open bottles on the tables; that is just a ridiculous statement. It is illegal for customers to serve themselves at a winery.

My husband and I recently got married at Appolo Vineyard! Mike did a wonderful job working within our budget, while making sure our needs were met. We were looking for a small intimate setting for our ceremony and mini reception. This venue met all our our expectations for our big day, from the friendly staff, to the beautiful grounds, and tasty wine and treats. We also had elderly grandparents who attended and Mike was very accommodating! The only thing we didn’t think of until it was an “issue” for our grandparents the day off was the restroom situation. There are only portable restrooms available, which were too difficult for the elderly to use based on mobility. This did not take away from our experience by any means, but I just want to acknowledge this as it’s something we didn’t think about. So if you have elderly attending your event just keep this in mind. Overall we were completely satisfied with the whole experience from start to finish! We can’t thank Mike enough for his support through this process. He continually checked in throughout our event to offer suggestions. From offering suggestions for beautiful spots to take pictures on the grounds, to make sure we didn’t need anything, or just offer a lending hand, make was there and available for us. On one of the most stressful days, with our three kids 3 and under, he was a calm to the storm when he would offer a suggestion to make our experience more enjoyable or jump right in to offer help. We would highly recommend Appolo Vineyard as a place to hold an event or just enjoy a glass of wine. We know we will be back to take in the beautiful scenery, enjoy a drink, and relax!

Definitely some of the best wine in the state. Dry wines are very good which is refreshing to the overwhelmingly sweet varieties found nearby. Great small outdoor space that is comfortable to have a tasting and a bottle. They have small snacks which is perfect to have with your tasting.
