They are very pricey and the techs do all the work

This vet is all about the money. Took our dog for a check up and walked out of there paying $2000 for blood work, EKG, tooth cleaning. Afterwards the vet said all of my dogs teeth needed to be extracted?? After cleaning??? Figure that one out $$$$. So the quote comes in for all teeth to be extracted- $ 6,000. Told them cannot pay that amount. They then said ok can you pay $3,800???. Procedure was done and now they said there was additional cost?? Do not go to this vet with your beloved pets. There just in it for the money and will use your love for your pets at your expense.

You find out about your vet in emergencies and Irvington is 2 for 2. They tried to save my old dog who had tumors on her spleen, one had ruptured. Dr. Rue was honest and said it was 50-50. 2.5-hour surgery to remove tumors and spleen. She had cancer and lived for another 5-6 week. They tried as hard as they could. Three months ago, dog horribly attacked and got 4 bad puncture wounds. Saw her immediately and she was basically better in 2-3 weeks. Did excellent work to clean and drain wounds. Have used them for 7 years; you can tell how much the staff loves pets.

Ever since this practice was sold, the quality of service went down but charges went up. Even for the blood work they charge you for the visit now. They forget to mention that you need to stop giving the meds prior to the blood work and the visit had to be rescheduled. Sometimes it's obvious, sometimes it's not. And it's worth mentioning. They stopped giving 3-year vaccines just because. I asked if there was any particular reason for that, the answer was "We stopped offering it in this office". Feels like it's all about money now.

I think they might. I would call. Leave a message if busy and they should call you back.
I do not work here, but this a veterinarian not a pet store. If you are asking if they sell birds then the answer is no. If you are asking if they see birds for veterinarian exams, I am not sure.
I'm not sure if you can have a checkup with no funds, but during a financial hardship you could either sign your dog over to a rescue or adoption agency. Or you could ask for a sponsor so that you can get your dog checked up. But some sponsor will ask you to pay them back.
