We were exited to visit but walked away disappointed. The woman who served us was kind of rude and lacked a true sense of hospitality. She seemed annoyed everytime we asked questions and gave us the impression that she had better things to do. The food was ok, but very heavy. Our advice is to skip the appetisers if you want to have any hope of finishing your mains. You also have to order everything at once so you don't even get a chance to see the appetisers before deciding on mains. And if you want to split a main they add $10 to your bill. We weren't informed of this but we found it on our hand written bill. The food was decent but very expensive and just not worth the price. Overall, we would not recommend this place to anyone who expects a finer dining experience.

Best sazerac, reminded me of Commander's Palace of New Orleans fame

Need a second visit as our table was near the back and heavy traffic.

Okay for the record ... I always forget it's a German restaurant. Why? Well bc the salmon entree and shrimp cocktail app does NOT make me think their specialty is schnitzel and that's a bit a good thing... It's a GREAT THING. highly recommend. The staff. The food. Ya. Go!

Yes from the host or at the Bar.
I'm not sure sure if they have a happy hour however you can always call and as far as the menu I know their menu is constantly changing so again you could probably look online at their website to see their menu. That is unless it is market value like lobster
The owner of Johannes and all staff are very gracious. If you wish to change your reservation, call them and they will be quite happy to accommodate you.
