Best place to launch a boat on fontana

Not good for kayaking during the spring /summer unless you really love sharing this part of the lake with gasoline motor boats. Countless people on different kinds of boats passed us way too fast with zero regard for us or other boaters on the water. We also counted 20 boards with nails in them floating in the water, which is not good if you're in an inflatable boat. Lots of trash and litter piled up in the coves we tried to explore to get away from all of the bigger boats and jet skis. Maybe other parts of this lake are quiet or cleaner but I don't think we'll be going back. It's a shame that there aren't more waterways where gasoline engines are prohibited. THANKS NORTH CAROLINA!!

Very nice developed ramp. Really nice parking area with spaces long enough to park truck with attached trailer. Not over populated at all. Great floating dock down one side of ramp.
