This PO has to be the worst in California

passport waiting area was in the corner on the ground. no seating provided. Bring a chair. Not like this rating matters anyway. They can be as awful as they want, its the U.S government. No competition.

I have had to go to the post office quite a bit for everything from passports to mailing different types of packages, and the employees there have always been pleasant, efficient, and helpful. The ones who currently work there are always juggling many things during the day and they hustle. I think the post office gets a bad rap more for some of its policies than the employees themselves. The employees don't get to choose the policies or rates though, and they've always been nice when I go there. If you're getting a passport, remember to get there a couple hours before they open - the written list fills up fast with lots of applicants!

Yes, Tom. You have to get re-new one. Good Luck..
Is this for passports? Unfortunately they don’t make appointments - The passports office is open M-F 10:30-3:30; on a first come first serve basis - the line for the passport sign up usually starts forming around 9am; doors open at 10 so everyone signs up and they they call you back a few at a time. Remember, no guarantee you will be seen so recommend getting there early to sign up early! Also, they only do new or log expired passports - if you are doing a renewell, you just need to fill out the form; include your current passport, a passport photo, check or money order for either the expedited or regular service (made or to dept of state) and have your envelope addressed and ready to go (different addresses for each service; each listed in the renewell form.)
The mail is not coming to the Alta post office, why?
Never
Nancy, You go enter PO Box's office by Open amount 9am or 10am, see notice front door near by passport paper & you go Get fill up paper for passport, after you tell them you are here with your husband... Be sure Bring your husband his driver license & etc any his needed ~OR~ Second option go to 2956 Richardson Drive, Auburn, Ca had Passport, you can sign up. Plus etc. Their Office Opened for 24 hours. Good Luck...
Don't know ask postal service sorry
Well yes, call your Post Office for that answer.. Good Luck..
Well You go enter to Post Office & or call'em Post Office, you tell them about Post Boxes Due, because of your key broke off. Have Man's Post office come fix your Post Boxes issue, can replace new Key... Good Luck..
Hmmmm! Maybe with a lot of trouble and paper work and time. Auburn is a nice place. Save trouble and drove up and get it!! :-)
Maybe you dropped after pickup hours
Go to post office and tell them.
Get forms at post office. Get pictures at AAA. fill forms, attach pictures, and money order and old passport. Mail where form tells you. Wait 3 or 4 weeks. There it is! Post office has forms, but no help. DIY !
The renewal packet is provided, however no renewal passports are processed through us - it’s all done by mail in. You will need the complete form, a new passport photo, old passport, check or money order (prices & address it’s mailed too vary depending on expedited or regular service - all Info provides in packet) and the only requirement is that you send it in with tracking - priority mail flat rate envelope ($6.70) is the most common way.
Smaller offices have an expected time of 10-12, while larger offices are sometimes later. Auburn Main Office is expected complete by 11:30 - Monday’s (busiest day for USPS) may sometimes be later but be please be patient, lots of mail to sort and deliver!
Your Name General Delivery Auburn, CA 95604 Please remember when you check for general delivery mail, all you beed is to bring your ID to the customer service door; ring the buzzer, and they will help you shortly. Also, Mail sent to General delivery is only hold for 30 days and then sent back
Your best bet to speak with someone, especially in a larger office, is to come in person and inquire at the customer service door. If the employee cannot help you, they should get a supervisor; if they don’t, you should ask for one. Some of the most knowledgeable supervisors and employees in the district work at this office. Please be patient and expect to wait for a few moments if needed but your issue will get resolved. Otherwise, be patient and hang on hold with the one 800 number, or enter your information and Have USPS contact you back so you don’t have to wait on hold
Unfortunately we been at minimum a day notice on a mail hold and you will need to either fill out and Turn in the yellow hold mail form at the local office or submit a hold mail request form online at USPS.gov
