This trip to Holiday Inn express was for business purposes through my job. The rooms were nice and clean the room was good it smelled nice also.. They served continental breakfast and had an all day coffee. The staff was attentive.

The hotel was okay, VERY good staff and my room was very clean. The food that they had for breakfast each day was terrible. There is a great Cuban restaurant across the Main Street from the hotel. That was the best thing about staying here.

I worked in the hospitality industry for a long while. Started at DAYS INN, then at the SHERATON NORTHLAKE location and finally for the MARRIOTT CORP. at the MARRIOTT MARQUIS, downtown Atlanta which ended in 1983. With that training instilled - you do find yourself noticing details when you stay at hotels down the road. I was SO enamored with the "hospitality" afforded to my husband and me this past weekend I simply couldn't avoid posting a glowing endorsement to this hotel property. From check-in to check-out, we were constantly happily surprised with the staff members efforts. We were greeted with a smile and the kind of attention hard to find in today's climate. Our room was impeccably clean without the overwhelming smell of bleach you sometimes endure. All our pre-check-in requests were in place. Any time we called the front desk for assistance, they were right there. The breakfast spread was fantastic; not just lukewarm coffee and muffins. Eggs, bacon or sausage, biscuits, bagels, gravy, cereal, juice, fruit, danish, yoghurt, milk including non-fat, plenty of coffee with varieties of creamer. Whoever is in charge of this particular property should reward their staff. We stayed at this location due to a family memorial service. The fact that everything about our stay was 5 star took some of the pain out of our situation. Darlene greeted us with a smile and an authenticity we haven't been used to for quite some time. April was at the desk when we checked out and handled our departure similarly. The housekeepers were so professional and proficient with their responsibilities.
