Nice place, pine area amount the miles of grasslands with picnic tables and 2 trails, 1 nature (plants) and 1 archeological ( leads to visitor center with displays about the local natives dating back to 11,000 years bce.

This rest area very small . And is patrol be a very mean policeman.... You shouldn’t park anywhere near the curve . If there no spaces , get behind another trailer , but for your life don’t park on the curve ,, or you will be yell at by 👮‍♀️!!!

Been here a few time now.. it a nice clean rest area..there is also an hour hike if you like yo hike..
