It's pretty obvious from all the negative reviews that the administration could care less at the third world country treatment patients get here. Not originally from the area, but soon found out this hospital is no Albany med or St. Peter's. I've heard of so many horror stories, then got to experience it for myself and this my opinion of this hospital. Its a detriment to the community and the well being of those who who have to come here. If your able to get to a better hospital, I would definitely recommend it. I don't imagine many medical professionals actual choose Cortland hospital, it's like the skid row for doctors. Also a CT of the lungs shouldn't take more than a day or to for results, I've been waiting week, which is absolutely ridiculous!!!!

ER is trash. The medical "professionals" refuse to listen to the patients and their concerns and just GUESS at what is wrong. Go elsewhere if you value yourself.

Worst hospital around! Multiple trips to this er and they give not a single care about you here. Coming in with a painful injury and sitting in the waiting room for over an hour to even be seen by someone is a joke. If I were bleeding I would've bled out with how long it takes them to see you. Not to mention the staff is rude and seem to be annoyed by your presence. If you want a chance don't go to this hospital!
