This is a wonderful place to stay for any occasion. I was in the area for a wedding and I couldn't of been more happy with the service and room! If your looking to do some fishing there are multiple lakes in the area with good spots to cast your line. If your just looking for peace and quiet. Look no further. I will be back for sure. Only stayed 1 night, but a nice place to stop while exploring Northern MN. Room had everything I needed, and it was quiet. Conveniently located with a gas station right nearby.

The room was clean and comfortable. The owners are very attentive to details such as glass glasses and ceramic cups, and ice packs in freezer. It is rustic and gives you the authentic feeling of being in the north woods and getting away with the beauty of lakes, river and woods near you.. Great activities like fishing, nature walks and scenic vistas are right at your fingertips. The rooms are affordable and are being updated methodically with the continued "up north" feel with careful planning. I would stay here again at this non trendy motel and cabins.
