Southcentral Outboards is a great company to deal with. They took in my lower unit as a core. My core was not usable and they gave me the credit for it anyway. The lower unit they sent me has been working well and it came with a 1 year warranty which is a good piece of mind and was much cheaper than a new unit. I have a Yamaha 115 four stroke and most places didn't want to even look at rebuilding my lower unit. Southcentral didn't hesitate to take on my broken lower unit. They have a customer for life with me!

I was desperate to find a new lower unit for my Yamaha and SCO actually had one but spent the time to check, double check, cross-reference part numbers and send me all the info and while the parts were different then what I needed the customer service did not waiver. I think it’s was a woman named Sue that a spoke with who helped me and called me back. She was very courteous, helpful, very knowledgeable.

I called to ask about a product they showed to have for sale. they described it as an exact fit to replace my hydraulic tilt system. I purchased over the phone, it arrived in 5-6 days. I installed the unit on my outboard, it was perfect fit, tested good. Sent my old unit back in same box with prepaid shipping label. Great experience with Southcentral Outboards.
