Tonight I went to Tao Reflexology for a foot massage. My friend gave me a gift card for my birthday. She had purchased the 30 minutes massage for $20 (before their price increase). Now it’s $25 for 30 minutes. I gave the cashier my $20 gift card and a tip for the woman. He refused to honor the $20 gift card and showed me their chart with the new price had me give him the additional $5 for the increase. I will never go back there again because of this. First and last time there. Poor Customer Service and I plan to tell everyone!

Have been here several times and got Lisa for my therapist at random a couple of weeks ago. What a find...she is fantastic and can read the body so well. I went back yesterday and requested her...another wonderful experience. This is from now on my go to place.

While Tao does have some great massage therapists they also have some really bad ones. Today I experienced one of those and probably would have just let it go except I honestly believe the man who did my massage had no real certification or professional training to be doing massages. Actually I'm not even sure they have to be licensed at the reflexology places? He bounced me around so much just by pushing on my body so my head was bopping up and down when I was on my stomach, which was really weird. It literally gave me a headache. He really never massaged any actual muscles in my back or feet. I've seen the manager say in other reviews to indicate whether you want more pressure or less pressure, etc. but in this case I would just say somebody who knows HOW to do a massage. Because there are good therapists there I'll probably go back but if I get another one like this who is just all around horrible and it doesn't improve by 5 minutes into my session I'm going to ask for somebody different. Not only do I not enjoy wasting my money or time but I fear somebody like this could actually hurt you. This is the second time this has happened here - the last time was over a year ago, but both times weren't just a bad service or me being dissatisfied, they represented someone who had no idea what they were doing. My neck is sore and I need an adjustment / massage to recover from this poor service received today.
