I went in for a scheduled appointment today. Walked in and told the receptionist my name and why I was there. I was told to take a seat and someone would be out to get me in a minute. I sat in the waiting room for 45 minutes before going back to the window and asked if someone would be out to get me and they had no idea I was there. This was my second trip to Kane hospital I’m still receiving a bill from my first visit that my insurance and kane hospital says is paid. I will not be giving them $180 to be told I was having an allergic reaction when I walked in and told them I was having an allergic reaction.

Patient's are not important enough for ANYONE from UPMC Kane to contact when their physician's decide to leave! I've heard that he has left from several different former patients of the same doctor,: not one person was contacted by UPMC, only to find out through the grapevine that he is gone. Why is it so difficult to let us now. Not one word as to my appointment in March, I'm angry at both my doctor and UPMC!!! I will NEVER return to UPMC again. This kind of behavior from so called professionals is uncalled for! UPMC should be ashamed of themselves for allowing this. I'd rather die than have to be a patient of UPMC at this point. If there were someway to file a grievance against you, I would in a heartbeat!!! Such a pathetic joke! That's our healthcare system hard at work for "us!"

My dad was there last night thinking he was having a heart attack. Took 25 minutes to even get someone to the door. Half hour to even be checked. Yes. The nurses and doctors are very caring and efficient. Everyone works well together as a team. We are family caring for you and your family.
Call the records department and request your records. You may need to fax the request or go through your new doctor. They've always helped me get records. Good luck!
