I am very disappointed. I was 10 minutes late. The nurse practitioner did not see me. The doctor I saw did not evaluate me and then the billing office called me to say they did not take my insurance hours after my appointment. Reading all of the other reviews I did not expect to have such a unprofessional and unproductive visit.

I’m sorry but I have to be honest. I’ve had a horrible experience with this doctor for awhile now and I’m so pleased to finally be switching. I had a huge health scare with her last year and she was extremely insensitive. I truly felt that she left me with terrifying news in a cold room all by myself. Then I had to deal with the nurses who are even worse. I’m not sure if they aren’t knowledgeable or just tired of dealing with people. Everytime I speak with them they rush me through the conversation and sound annoyed. Even if I return a call about important health matters. Very careless and cold. One nurse even asked me why I have gained so much weight? Just like that. Once I got a clean bill of health, I called back to see what the lump they found actually was. The nurse said “do you drink coffee?” And I said, um, sometimes?… She said, “stop drinking coffee.” And I said ok? What does that have to do with the lump you found. She said just stop drinking it. No explanation at all. I chalked it up to they were having a busy month and tried to be compassionate. Recently I called to ask about a copper IUD and the nurse once again did not explain anything, but said no it’s something we have to order and it takes over a month to start working. (Which is completely false) She talked me out of it because of the hassle. I can’t wait to never go back. Horrible experience.

I managed to get an appointment with Dr Zakaria at short notice last week and the whole process was very efficient and stress-free. The office itself is very clean and well-run. Dr Zakaria was very respectful, he listened to my concerns and recommended treatment in a way that was easy to understand. Exactly the type of place and people you want when it comes to your health 👍
