Second time here and the later was soooo much better than my first try. Maybe I got luckier with the orders in this Venice Italian staple. It’s a bit expensive but totally worthy to try it for yourself. The whole branzino was cooked close to perfection and some of the pasta was to lick your plate. Very good service and top level experience.

Mild racism and the food is beyond mediocre

Drinks are overpriced but perfectly made. Appetizers were delicious. There was nothing really special about the pasta. It was good. One was severely undercooked. It was like flour paste sticking to your teeth. When we complained, they said that's the way it should be. They did take it off the check, though. They asked if we were there for a special occasion and we said a bday. They did nothing except say happy birthday when we left. There is also a 5% cleaning charge or something like that added to your check.

Best Italian food in LA, glass windows inside show the master chef hand making the pastas with ancient Roman, Venician and Neopolitan recipes.

Yes. they have a bar that serves the full menu. It is first come first serve at the bar.
Was there Saturday 6/13 and they weren't open for dine in yet. Not sure when they will be
Yes! There is a small booth/stand right outside the front door.
Not for the restaurant, but there is a public valet parking lot behind the restaurant.
I went there with shorts and a golf shirt. They didn't seem to have a strict dress code. But I wouldn't go with flip flops and a tank top.
Order ahead for takeout. That way you cut down on waiting for your order.
No it's the pasta place
Sodas don't show up on their takeout order and their drink options are typically water (sparkling or regular), wine, and beer.
yes, they do but as requested just ask for "bistecca alla grillia"
Yes
Not really. I'm sure you could make it work, but I'm not sure there's a kids menu or anything like that. It's also pretty tight at times to other tables. Then again, who doesn't like pasta?
Probably not, but best to call and check if there's options
I paid $350 for a portion of bread, an appetizer, 2 personal pizzas and a bottle of good quality Italian red wine. Dinner for 3 people. Is that expensive?
