This tiny corner store down the street from Trader Joe's hides a plethora of snacks, spices, Indian food, and a ton of pleasant conversation. I've recently gotten hooked on Indian snacks and Pennywise offers a huge selection at prices just as good as that bigger store. The owners are very sweet and I'm just as likely to stop by to say hi as I am to shop, but I always end up buying something. I'd rather they get my money than a big corporation. The cool name is a bonus.

I love this little store. The owners are the nicest store owners I’ve ever met and the items are authentic (for example, many of their spices are directly from India). Really wonderful place to shop Indian grocery!
