The overall experience sales person was very good. He would have received a 5 star rating. This rating is for the clearance manager. There was a refrigerator, well there were two refrigerators on clearance. Both refrigerators were exactly the same with the exact same damage, a dent on the side. There was a $200 difference in the prices and I asked if they would reduce the second refrigerator to the same price the first one was. I had also purchased a brand new dishwasher, stove and microwave and wanted to complete the set with one of the clearance refrigerators. The sales person asked the clearance manager if he would reduce the second refrigerator and he said no because it hadn’t been on the clearance floor long enough to reduce that refrigerator the $200 difference. I was surprised to see that they had a buyer for the second refrigerator and because it had not been on the clearance for as long as the first refrigerator he would not reduce it by $200. I think the company could afford the $200 difference given both refrigerators had the same damage and both of them were on the clearance floor. I simply asked the sales person to watch and the minute the other refrigerator got dropped the $200 to give me a call and I’d buy it. The clearance managers logic, I feel was very short sighted. The clearance manager would get a single star or a zero rating but the sales person would have gotten the five star rating.
