After hearing some positive reviews we visited the Hartford House for a birthday dinner celebration. Upon arrival we were told that a party was occupying the dining room so we were seated in the bar section. Although disappointing we understood. In the bar area they had only one server and even though the restaurant was not busy you could see she was a bit stretched yet remained attentive and polite. Our evening took a turn for the worse when our food arrived. Each dish was cold. The vegetables and potatoes were not only cold but not even cooked. We were brought out more potatoes which were warm, but by then our appetites had vanished. We try to support local establishments but after this awful meal (if I could give zero or a minus 1 star I would) I cannot ever see us returning. Needless to say our experience was very very disappointing.

Today, I met 2 of girlfriends for lunch, it was so fun! Our attendant was fabulous and so friendly. The French fries are delicious! They are new in town and have a few things to work out but all in all, they are doing pretty well.
