Nice and easy trails through the woods. A couple of ponds to sit by and ponder life.

Nice area to go for a walk. Not particularly steep if you’re looking to run trail.

Beautiful place to hike, but watch out for poison ivy. "Leaves of 3, let them be!"

I wouldn't say so - don't come looking for an area with tables, grills, etc. There are a few benches near one of the entrances, but this is mostly forest paths.

What hours can I go here? I live far away and would like to visit this some time but it'll probably be late in the day. Thanks.

Not 100% but I think it officially closes 30min after sunset. That's just a guess so don't hold me to it. There's no gate or anything and I don't imagine it's patrolled regularly. It's basically open all day every day.

Can we fish at there?

Roth Nouv | Sep 21, 2018
Rob Reid | Sep 21, 2018

Yes you can, as long as you are a NJ license holder and follow all state laws for size and count requirements. On a side note, the lake was dredged in 2012 and most of the fish are small or pan fish.
