The Legendary BIG MOOSE
I've been eating here for over 30 years. I have traditionally had my birthday dinner here for the last 20 years. About a week ago I had company come in from out of state and they wanted to go to Buffalo Jacks because they'd heard me talk about it for years. We got there and the lady at the bar says "sit wherever you'd like". We walked in the back room and sat down and sat for 35 minutes and never saw another soul. There were three kids at a booth by the bar and nobody else except us in the place. Finally we got and left. Never got a menu, never saw a waitress and after we left I called to talk to a manager because I was embarrassed and a little perturbed the way we were ignored, the manager put me on hold for 5 minutes and then says "ok what can I help you with" after I had already explained the situation. I just said "I guess you can't help me, it doesn't make any difference anyway". I think it's a shame that such a wonderfully unique place that has been in business for so long has gone to seed due to lack of management and poor customer service. It breaks my heart but after all these years I'm done. I will not be back and I'll not be recommending this establishment ever again. All good things come to an end and this place is proof of that. Do yourself a favor, there's a Subway just down the street, the food is mediocre but at least your greeted and served in a timely manner. 😔

I forget to take pics of the food. The all you can eat walleye is what attracted me but it turns out that thanks to Bidens America supply chain issues they were limited on their menu. So I had the cod platter which was good although the cod fillets could have been a little bigger (I'm a big man). My wife had the Trailblazer which is a mushroom steak hogie whichs was excellent and hearty. Great service and value. We will go back frequently to try different things from the wild game to the pizzas and wings. (Depending on the supply chain LGB)

We were the only people in the whole place. Our waitress was never in site if we needed anything we had to wait. We heard the bell for our order was up but our waitress was telling another employee a inappropriate story that we could hear …

A bit out of the way but the food is delicious well made and plentiful. Interesting decorations and children friendly. Definitely recommend the all you can eat walleye!

The Ft. Rowdy festival in Covington will be Aug 31st through Sept 2. Don't know about any buffalo festival.
They offer all you can eat Walleye daily and it is worth the visit.
Variety of things. Fish, tenderloins, dinners, exotic food like buffalo, also breakfast food
No veal parmesan. Try Olive Garden.
I doubt the alligator on the menu is grass fed.....
