The old guy who works in card desk there is very unfriendly . I do not recommend this library

Glad we still have this in our new media age, it's nice to have some physical media at hand. The staff is very helpful! An the space is welcoming... not as nearly intimidating as it use to be years ago!
Today I book a book I have the option of picking it up tomorrow and where can I claim it please.

You get a message to your email and cell phone with the date to go through the book. After entering the library, on the left there are some shelves with all the books reserved, you must search by your last name (they are in alphabetical order) and then you go through the box to reserve it with your library card 💛 I hope I have helped!
Can I get a copy of the monthly news of what's going on at the Miramar Library, instead of having to visit the library to pick up a copy of the leaflet?

Yes. You could visit the webpage: broward.org/library, select library location (Miramar Library) then Events and you will see all programs for the month. Have fun : )
