I am lucky to belong to the Sunny Hill family for already three years, and I’m grateful for the attention, care, and concern they have for all residents without distinction. The cleanliness and organization of the center say a lot about its workers. The TEAM is attentive to each health situation or need residents may have. I have had the opportunity to be with them in some critical moments, and I am a witness to the effort and affection with which they prepare and carry out cultural events, in addition to other activities and crafts that help keep the mind and body in constant movement. I don't want to mention names because I want to forget any of them, everyone has a vital role in the center, and they fulfill it with a lot of love. Since the beginning of the pandemic, they have become the great heroes of these times, and I want to recognize them.

My grandmother has been at Sunnyhills for a few years now and I couldn’t be happier with her care. She is in the memory care unit and recently broke her hip. Ann and the whole team went above and beyond to ensure she was taken care of and accommodations were made. Ann treats everyone like family.

My mother-in-law was diagnosed with dementia and could no longer live safely by herself. We tried to care for her at our house but found working full time jobs and watching over her to be overwhelming. One time, she decided to go walking and got lost in the neighborhood. Thankfully we found her but what a scare. The staff care about their residents and there are weekly activities that they can do such as arts & crafts, listening to piano music during "Happy Hour" (no alcohol involved, just a fun time). One staff member told me that mom was dancing slowly to one of the songs and enjoying her snacks. Mom even made friends with 2 ladies within the first few months! That's when we knew she had adjusted to the changes and was settling in. No matter what time or day we visited, the facility was clean and the residents treated with respect and dignity. This is a very special place and I am glad the Director in charge Ann is making this facility a kind and caring place to call home.
