Great, convenient service. I've never had issues with items being picked up. The website will list acceptable items. Since the pandemic it appears they do not have the staff to help with larger items. Either way, I'm happy to help our veterans! Thank you VVA for making this so easy.

I have scheduled three pick ups in the last month and each time it was canceled the day of the pick up. I have been donating to VVA for years in honor of my late brother who served in the air force. I take the time to gather the items, bag them and sit them on the front porch only to have my pick up canceled. Will donate elsewhere from now on.

This is not a center to donate to veterans. You are giving your belongings to a private company which in tern sells it to the public.

I made a appointment for a pick up. Because I have had them pick up before in Miami. When changing the zip code online it never took. After speaking to several representatives. I was assured that I was on the route for my pick up in West Palm Beach FL. I also called twice on the day of delivery ask for a supervisor at this time of 5;45pm no one has contacted me. I called them and all they can do is reschedule me for next week. I was not offered for them to come the next day to make up for their error I will use them again. Poor Customer Service. . .

Its clearly says on your door that you are a retail store and not a charity organization. So World thrift store and your website address are same as for Vietnam Veteran orginization. You do pick ups from people assuming they donate to veterans?

Thank you for your question regarding VVA’s donation program. World Thrift store is accepting donations on behalf of Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA). VVA does not own thrift stores and has contracted with World Thrift Store to assist with our donation program by both picking donations up from donors and accepting donations at their store. VVA is compensated for all donations collected and the proceeds are spent on our veteran service work.
