Bethany Seventh Day Adventist Church, is the home church for some of my relatives. Saturday is revered as the Sabbath day, a day of rest, as Sunday is by others of the Christian faith. I attended my cousin's funeral there. From the moment we entered the grounds we were politely greeted and assisted by church h members with parking. As we entered the doors of the church, each person's temperature was checked, and there was a stand available for antibacterial foam immediately nearby. The kind ushers assisted us with seating in our individual groups. All rows were equipped with dots on top to signify seating that was six feet apart. There were at least two to three rows between each seated row as well. The pastor's podium and microphone was encased in plexiglass as well. They had taken every precaution to keep everyone safe, and because of that, I was extremely appreciative.
