I’m going to give round of applause to FPL ( Florida Light and Power ) you got to hand it to these guys.. they’re on the go at all hours of the day, and night. Especially after a lightning strike that happens all the time over here.. Yesterday evening I just woke up from a nap when.. I saw a white hot flash and a BOMM!! Right In My Back Yard! It was Lights out – after a lightning bolt hit the telephone pole transformer , and knocked the line off of it. . After I called FPL and reported the incident , they said only one house was affected in my area… mine. Thankfully an hour later Three FPL trucks came right out and got to work on it without delay , They raised the boom on the truck and replaced the electrical transformer in just over an hour. In the meanwhile.. I had to light some candles and un-box my new WEN-450W Generator for the first time. It ran nice and quiet , I was able to power-up the house fan and my desktop computer to listen to some music while they were outside working on a Saturday night. Thank You FPL

I’ve lived across the country. And by far this is the worst power company I’ve ever been a part of! If giving them no stars was possible that’s what I would be doing ! Asked for a 7 day extension, with a 400$ payment was told no. I’ve only been a customer for 5 months. Worst 5 months of my life! Hope they feel good at night knowing they are setting my family up for failure.

Thank you for the work you have done in reconnecting our home and others. I tried to get information on the computor but i was not able to get through. It may have been because of the volume of people trying to get through. I called the 800 no. and i was able report the outage. Thanks again.
