The volunteers were very helpful, thorough, and informative. They helped me get my blood pressure under control and referred me to a facility that could help me long term.

It's been a long time since I've been to the dentist I kept putting it off I went & it wasn't bad at all

You actually have to call at 2pm on Tuesday if you wanna get in. I tried going in at 3 and called. I was told they started taking people at 3, but that is not the case. I wish I would've been told ahead of time. I have a cracked tooth and can't really wait until next week.

Do you work on teeth on Wenday? What time do you open
We are a free clinic so there will be no cost. You will need an appointment to start. Call us Monday as close after 2 pm as you can. We make appointments for our Tuesday assessment clinic. Appointments are after 4:00 p.m. At that appointment, the dentist will look at the xrays (we do) and see what kind of dental issues you have. If we are able to do the extraction at our clinic, they will make an appointment for you to come back and have the tooth extracted. Call 402 421 2924 Monday after 2 (we are full this week).
We distribute vouchers for eye exams one day a month. The voucher is used to pay for the exam in a doctors office. Once you have a voucher, you call the office listed and set an appointment that works with your schedule. If you need glasses, you would come back to us to pick out glasses. The next time we do this is Wednesday, January 13. You can begin calling at 2:00 p.m. on that day to reserve a voucher. Our number is 402-421-2924. We do this on the second Wednesday of each month.
Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday nights
It would depend on the nature of the exam you need. We do not do Department of Transportation Physicals. If it is a general exam we sure can. Just make an appointment by calling after 2. Call 402 421 2924.
That is beyond the scope of what we are doing at Clinic with a Heart. We would recommend the UNMC College of Dentistry. However, he can start with us for Xrays and Treatment planning. To get an appointment, call on a Monday after 2:00 p.m. We schedule for the week of services. Our dental slots fill up very fast. Our phone number is 402 421 2924.
Yes. Call next Monday after 2 for ana appointment. 402 421 2924.
Our phone line is open Monday through Thursday after 2:00 p.m. Our dental clnic fills up quickly so it is best to call on Mondays. We only take appointments for the current week.
We won't remove the cyst but can make a referral for you. The provider at our clinic will have to look at it first. This week clnics are on Tuesday and Thursday. You cna begin calling at 2:00 for an appointment that day. Appointment times are 4:00 or after. Call 402 421 2924
Our appointments generally fill up withing 30 minutes of our phones going off of voicemail. You can call at 2:00 p.m. on the same day a service you need is offered. Appointment times are 4:00 p.m. and after. If you call and it goes into voicemail, hang up and keep calling until a person answers. We have many people answering the phones and many more calling in at the same time.
We have mental health providers at the clinic on Thursday's. They will meet with you and assess what your needs are. Then they will give you a community resource that fits with your needs. We also have medical providers at that clinic should the mental health provider feel medicine is needed. You can get an appointment by calling after 2:00 on Thursdays. We book same-day appointments for times that are 4:00 or after.
No worries. We do not require ID.
We are not a medical home clinic and do see as many patients as we can each time we have a clinic. This is all dependent on how many people we have volunteering. Our clinics this week are Monday, Tuesday and Thursday. You can come get a number as early as 2:00 p.m. and we begin registering patients at 4:00. When we hand out numbers we will give you a return time, or you are welcome to wait in our waiting room. Our vision clinic is on the third thursday of each month. Our dental clinic is every Tuesday for exams and x-rays.
We don't do any surgery but can help you get the best resource possible for your circumstances. The first step would be to see a provider at Clinic with a Heart. Clinics are every Tuesday and Thursday and the 1st Monday of each month. At 2 pm you can get a number to hold your place in line. We start admitting patients at 4. You are welcome to wait in our waiting room or we will give you a return time.
Ali, all our services are walk-in, first-come, first serve. On clinic days, we begin handing out numbers at 2:00 p.m. -- this holds your place in line. We begin admitting at 4:00 p.m. You may stay in our waiting room, or we will give you a return time. The next clinic is Thursday.
All our services are provided by volunteers. We do have a dermatology clinic about 3 times a year. One is not scheduled at this time.
We do not do a biopsie at the clinic. We are a good place to start. Have a medical provider examine you and we can make a referral. Feel free to call us tomorrow to discuss. Our phone number is 402-421-2924.
No we only screen onn Tuesdays
The next time a dentist will be at the clinic is Tuesday evening.
We are not a permanent medical home. You can come to the clinic to see a medical provider up to three times in a twelve month period. If a provider writes a prescription it is a 30 day supply. To get a refill you would need to come back to the clinic (we do not refill over the phone). We do not prescribe narcotics, controlled substances or antipsychotics. We can help you find a medical home that has a sliding fee scale and medication assistance programs. Feel free to call if you have any questions 402-421-2924. We do not pay for prescriptions written by other clinics.
They do a free eye exam and one free pair of glasses (no contacts). They only do it one day a month so check their calendar for the next date. And get there extremely early, because they only see 6 people and spots fill up REALLY fast.
We do not do fillings at this time. You can come to see a dentist on a Tuesday (we are not open on the 25th). The dentist will do an exam and give you a referral to a community resource. Our doors open at 2 in the afternoon and you can get a number. We begin registering patients at 4.
They don't handle emergencies. If you think you might be having a heart attack, you should go to the E.R. If it's a daily occurrence then they might be able to give you an examination. But will most likely to have you see your regular doctor.
They do X-rays and extractions only. Anything else (i.e. cleanings, fillings, crowns, etc.) you have to go somewhere else. However, they can help you find the cheapest places to go for these.
Today and Thursday the doors for the clinic will open at 2 in the afternoon.
We have an indoor waiting room that opens at 2. We hand out numbers to people at 4 in the order that they arrived to the waiting room (so note who comes before you and after you). Every night we determine how many patients we can take by the number of volunteers who are coming.
Just north of the Sowers building in their parking lot
We have dentists every Tuesday at the clinic. We start accepting patients at 4 pm
Third Tuesday and third Thursday of every month.
