Worst shopping experience ever, returned an online item in store only wanted to make an exchange but item was not available so they gave me gift card but i was cool with that. Tried to make my purchase card wasn’t active they told me to wait an hr i waited and came back to make my purchase card still wasn’t active, so they went to speak to a manager and after hr of waiting manager said it’ll be available in 24 hrs, I drove an hr and a half from Greensboro Nc for absolutely nothing and this was on a Saturday no empathy or anything from store just reps giving me they card still trying to get a sale. So now we placed order for item online when we got home. Everything seemed all good until Monday we check for tracking it said order cancelled item not available, placed another order for something else with overnight shipping since we needed for sons bday coming up Saturday, item delayed won’t get there until Monday, called customer Service who was rude and not professional for the amount of money people spend and they placed overnight order which was cancelled again because lady did not put right billing information. At this point it’s Thursday and we don’t have an item for my sons bday party Saturday, so we had to call back and they had no resolution. I had to drive an hr and half to get an item without getting refunded because they said item can get rush del for Saturday but we did not trust that, so I went and purchased item again driving an hr and half. I got the item so I cancelled order and told them refund the card I paid with and they told me only gift card since it was a partial payment w debit card and gift card rep was very rude and acting as if she wasn’t going to help until we escalated call to another rude rep who finally refunded my debit card, still waiting for refund by the way! Neiman Marcus is not it, second hand seller is now turning into marshalls type of store. Can’t believe I went through all this I couldn’t even type everything smh never again. I have one more return and I think I’m gonna wait a while just for my peace because they are so hard to deal with! If i can give zero stars i would.

I realize the cosmetics counter folks are commission based - but my experience here was completely awful. I went in with a particular product I wanted to purchase. No one was available near the display/brand I wanted and when I asked for help the woman was dismissive, rude and not willing to help - pointing me to the woman who represented the brand. Even when I spoke with the brand salesperson, they were unhelpful and didn’t even offer to order a product for me that wasn’t available. Again, understand commission based - but what has happened to customer service?

Today I went into Neiman Marcus in a panic bc I had nothing to wear to a wedding we have this weekend in Asheville. Daniela immediately saw my panicked state and asked if I needed help. I explained the situation and she went into action. She brought me a ton of choices and when I found the dress I wanted that was too long, Daniela sprung into action and got me the seamstress to hem my dress in just 2 hours. This whole team was incredible and I had an amazing experience. Thank you Daniella and team!

Santa Claus absolutely made this shopping trip the absolute best! He sang with my grandchildren and taught them the Rudolph dance! He made our visit a memory the kids will treasure for a lifetime:)

I would ask for a manager, explain your issue, let them ok the exchange. If that does not work ( doubt that it won't) you could contact the company directly, but that would be my last resort.
