I have to give a shout out when it is due. The medical records department was amazingly fast when I needed all my radiology records for my new doctors in a new state. I submitted a request online and had everything downloadable and images mailed to me within a week! It’s hard to get that experience anywhere in the medical field anymore.

Today was my first time using Premier Radiology, Bell Meade location. I waited 3 weeks for my appointment and when I got there at 7:45am for an 8am appointment I ended up waiting until 9:30am to get called back. After then waiting for the tests to all be completed, I ended up being there until after 11am. I was not happy about that. They also did not have my prior authorization done prior to my appointment. I only gave 2 stars because the staff themselves were very nice and apologetic but the company itself needs to stop overbooking and respect the patients time.

I had a test at the location off Charlotte Ave and they were phenomenal. The Belle Meade location is TERRIBLE. The two receptionist don’t greet customers. One was just sitting there shuffling papers and the other one was helping a patient. When she finished helping the patient she then disappeared and she was just 2 cubby’s over talking. I stood and waited almost 10 minutes just to be checked in and was NEVER even acknowledged. I watched the same thing happen to the customers behind me. I waited an hour just to get called to the back. The doctor didn’t seem to know what he was doing. He stated, “I will read this report by the end of the day and have it faxed to your doctor.” I was told to give my doctors office 24-48 hours to call me with results. It’s been a week and I still don’t have results. My doctors office called me and spoke to someone who told them it hadn’t been read yet and wasn’t ready to fax. I called and got transferred to this office and all the phone did was ring and then I got hung up on. When I called back the person at the call center was very helpful. She found out from her manager that there’s an issue scanning the report over to have it read. So they’ve gone a week without fixing an issue that effects patients being able to get very important test results. So I’m unsure why they continue taking patients and their money when you can’t even fix an issue internally that’s a pretty big deal. This location doesn’t answer the phone even the call center couldn’t reach anyone. Premier Radiology Belle Meade should be your LAST OPTION if you need testing done. If I hadn’t had an MRI at a different location with a better experience I wouldn’t recommend Premier Radiology at all. This experience from scheduling the appointment up until even now has been absolutely horrible. There was one nice lady who collects money up at the front. She was great, and I even told her she was nice while the others seem to be rude. I thanked her for her kindness. She told me she was just filling in and she actually works at a different location. The young X-ray tech was nice that day, but that’s it. 2 people out of everyone I encountered that day is terrible customer service. I hope to save someone else from the horrible experience I had.
