I called for a week straight trying to get in touch with my case worker and never got an answer or a call back. The receptionist who would answer were very hateful even had one to hang up on me. I ended up having to make a trip to the office for a matter that could have been handled with a simple phone call. I have never called or visited a place where everyone is so unprofessional.

You can apply online at epass.nc.gov or go to the agency and they can provide you with an application.
Im 62 and on SSID , it dosent pay hardly enough to just get by. Should i apply for regular social security? I think that would be a little more than i get from SSID.

If you have work history and enough quarters in you may qualify for regular Social Security Disability. You would need to speak with someone at the SSA office for complete details and to determine if you are eligible. 1-866-931-7099 is the local office number.
