To whom it may concern. I purchased a kitchen table from Furniture Distributors in Greenville, NC in June. This was my second experience with this company. When they delivered my table they removed my old table. My daughter told the delivery guys that it would be better to take the table out the front door instead of kitchen door because we had moved in the original table and had to come in the front door. My daughter said the delivery guys said "It would be okay" and when they moved it they scratched my wood kitchen floor. I called the Greenville branch and spoke to the manager and he said he would refer it to customer service. I got a text on June 16th asking for photos of damaged floor which I sent the same day. June 17th I got a text back that they had received photos and they were going to send it over to management team. I got a follow up text on June 17th saying they were going to turn it over to the VP who handles all in home damages. It would be within the next week and I would hear something back. As of July 6th I still have not heard anything back from the VP regarding the damaged flooring. I guess at this point I would really appreciate a straight answer from someone whether they have any concern about damaging someones floor when delivering furniture. I did everything they asked me to do, sending pictures, and have been patient not calling or sending texts about the situation. I guess Furniture Distributors is more concerned about making a sale than delivering good customer service. The fact of the matter is the delivery folks were told not to try to exit the house the way they did but they ignored that and damaged my floor and didn't have the common curtsey to say anything to my daughter who saw them do it.
