The original managers we worked with when we bought our house is 2020 we’re impossible to get ahold of, and Ken promised us a $2500 rebate after buying the home and it would take 3-6 months to get it. We asked multiple times if we needed to fill out the rebate paperwork and he always said no. Fast forward a year and we still hadn’t gotten it and they had a new manager and Ken all of a sudden forgot about ever telling us he’d do the paperwork, and they couldn’t do anything about it and took his word over ours even though we had proof of the promotion going on at that time. Not to mention all the issues with the home that we constantly fought to get fixed. We were also lied to about having a five year warranty on our home and then told it’s only one year. We finally gave up and stopped calling because they don’t care. All you are is numbers to them and once your home is sold they no longer prioritize you. I DO NOT recommend buying from them. Once we sell this home we will be buying from a different company. Read the reviews on Google and Facebook and save your self a headache. If you really want a Clayton homes house, go through a different area. I’m really upset with our first time home buyer experience .
