Great historical spot in Rockford, its a nice spot by the river too and in the middle of downtown. It gets crowded some days but not enough to want to leave.

This park is not much to look at. Nothing special about what's there, though it does have a nice river view.

Just a dusty small park. Not worth the trip. I didn't even get out of the car.

All the parks are nice (and there are plenty) this one has a bit of history, burial mounds! Also a pleasant view of the river. But lots of duck poop (lots of ducks) there is also access to a walking/ biking bridge that leads to the other side of the river where on Friday night there is a outdoor market w/food trucks.
