Room was reasonable, but housekeeping was all but absent. 5 days between cleanings? Really? And skipping us despite repeated requests for cleaning? Unacceptable. Place is very short staffed. Lobby looks like a middle school cafeteria. Significantly worse than any other Holiday Inn Express we've stayed at.

I'm not really a big fan of Macomb, but I really appreciated about the city is how kind and helpful the people were. The staff at this hotel are a great example of that. The place is clean and the breakfast has the most variety I have ever seen in a hotel.

Pros: Front desk staff was polite and accommodating. Forbes at the front desk stood out. Helpful a few different times. Breakfast was great. I will stay here again when visiting family in the area. Cons: Common areas were not especially clean. Trim along bottom of elevator was missing. Common areas could use a refresh.

The room ware comfortable but Laura and staff was not helpful. I had to wait in the lobby for 30min to check in at 3am, there were no other customers there and that didn't seem to be a problem at all for them. Sad service
